The tattooed princess’s magic buckle

My work has been selected for “The Four Elements,” a digital art exhibition curated by Brooklyn Art Cave. This is a buckle found on a shred of the princess’s dress, a mummified tattoed body of a young woman, found in the Ukok plateau on the Altai mountains, Siberia, in 1993. The tomb, made of wood and gold, contained numerous funeral goods. There were jewels, weapons, a container for medicinal herbs, a musical instrument similar to a harp, a divinatory mirror and rudimentary blue-green tricks in vivianite. Six horses were also buried around the tomb, adorned and saddled. This buckle indicates the alchemical ability to work with the four elements, and to use shamanic arts for the benefit of the community. The tattoed princess was a shaman. This object tells us about you through the ages. All this makes me dizzy, time does not exist, there is only the primordial force of nature.
